About 2024 VBS Volunteers
This will be our group for volunteers for this year's 2024 Vacation Bible School. Our VBS program this year will be Breaker Rock Beach and will focus on Romans 12:2 "Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect". Our goal will be to remind children and their families that God's rock-solid truth stands firm in a world of shifting sands. We need volunteers for the following activities.
- Teaching Team: Preschool - Kindergarten and 4th Grade - 6th Grade
- Crafts Team: Team Leader- Jenna Wallin
- Games Team
- Refreshments Team: These people are responsible for treats for each night. Crosby Community Church will cover the expenses.
- Penny Exchange Team: This team makes sure that we have enough pennies and converts the children's money to pennies after the offering.
- Scripture Memory Team: These people sit in the back row and listens to the children recite their Bible verses before VBS and gives out a star for each Bible verse that is recited.
- Prize Table Team: Sets up and brings in the prize tables for the children to pick one prize for each star on their name tag each night. This group also places information in the prize bags for children to take home each night.
- Waterslide Team: Set up the waterslide each night and lines up the children to go down, making sure one child goes down at a time. These people also help the kids get up and down the hill.
